# Send a link to your TV without Chromecast

If your TV has a web browser, open kkll.li on it, scan the QR code with your phone, and send the link. The TV opens the page in its own browser. Unlike casting, it does not need a Cast-enabled app or a shared network, but playback depends on the website and the TV browser.

## What you need

- A TV or streaming device with a web browser.
- Internet access on the TV and on your phone. They do not need to be on the same network.
- A phone that can scan QR codes with its camera.

## Steps

1. **Open the TV address.** In the TV’s web browser, go to kkll.li.
2. **Scan the QR code.** Point your phone camera at the QR code on the TV.
3. **Send and open.** Paste the link, tap Send, then select Open on the TV.

## How casting differs

Google Cast hands playback to the TV: the phone tells a Cast receiver what to stream, and the receiver plays it. It works well with apps that support Cast, but usually needs the phone and receiver on the same network, and guest or hotel networks often block device discovery.

JustOpen.link does not stream or mirror anything. It passes a web address to the TV browser through an internet relay, so the devices can be on different networks. The trade-off is that the website must work in the TV’s browser.

## Troubleshooting

### No QR code appears on the TV

Check that the TV is online and that you typed kkll.li exactly. Older TV browsers may not support the features JustOpen.link needs; if the page keeps showing “Connecting…”, try another device with a newer browser.

### The page opens but the video does not play

Playback depends on the website and the TV browser. Some services, including Netflix, do not support TV web browsers. Try the same link in the TV browser directly to confirm.

### The site is blocked or asks me to sign in on the TV

The TV opens the link with its own internet connection and its own logins. Your phone’s VPN, accounts and cookies are not transferred, and JustOpen.link cannot bypass network or regional blocks.
